Employee performance

The table below details our employee value measures and targets to 2025. It reports our performance and demonstrates progress in creating a great place to work for all our employees as part of delivering 

Performance highlights in 2024 include:

  • We received the Water Industry Skills Employer of the Year Award 2023 from the Institute of Water in recognition of all the work we do to help colleagues learn, grow and reach their potential.
  • We've committed to supporting the ‘10,000 Black Interns’ programme over the next five years and have converted over 20 interns into full‑time employment following the programme.
  • During the year we have delivered over 21,500 days of training, ensuring our colleagues have the right skills, knowledge and behaviours.
  • Employee accident frequency rate for 2023/24 was 0.092 accidents per 100,000 hours worked, lower than the previous year and amounting to nine accidents reported.
