Residents invited to learn more about United Utilities’ Rossall pipeline upgrade
Residents in Rossall are invited to learn more about United Utilities’ plans to construct a new wastewater pipeline in the area.
The new pipeline will extend from Fleetwood Wastewater Treatment Works to the promenade off Westway and will improve the resilience of the network across the Fylde and Wyre coast. It will take treated wastewater from Fleetwood Wastewater Treatment Works to the promenade where it will connect into the existing outfall pipe.
Local residents will be able to learn more about the project and how its progressing at a community drop-in session taking place on Wednesday 15 April between 10am and 7pm at Fleetwood Rugby Club, Melbourne Avenue, Fleetwood, FY7 8AY

It comes as United Utilities is making great progress on the largest investment in water and wastewater infrastructure for a century. The company is spending more than £13bn to protect and enhance over 500km of rivers, lakes and bathing waters whilst safeguarding drinking water supplies for millions of customers.
