Open data is data that anyone can access, use or share. We aim to publish data on a regular basis, which will appear on this page. You can read our Open Data Strategy using the link below.

Open Data ambition and aims

We are committed to publishing open data with a clear purpose – driven by the needs of our customers, stakeholders, and wider society. Our ambition is to unlock the value of our data to support innovation, transparency, and collaboration, delivering benefits for the environment, the economy, and communities.

Open Data principles and values

Our Open Data Strategy is underpinned by the following principles and values:

Purpose-led publication: We will publish open data based on what our customers, stakeholders, and society need, ensuring it delivers tangible value.

High-quality and accessible: Our data will be complete, accurate, well-maintained, and freely available under a suitable open licence.

FAIROE-aligned: Our open data will adhere to the FAIROE principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable, Open and Ethical).

Governed and secure: Our open data processes adhere to our information security and data governance frameworks.

Continuously improving: We will regularly review and enhance our data publishing processes, guided by feedback and best practice.

Our latest open datasets are available below, and through collaboration with other water companies, additional sector-wide data can be accessed via the Stream platform.
