Human Rights Policy

Our Human Rights Policy outlines our commitment to acting with integrity and fairness at all times. This includes respecting and supporting the protection of human rights within our areas of influence – be it our employees, customers, suppliers or the communities in which we operate.

Data Protection and Privacy

Our Data Protection and Privacy Notice sets out our approach to confidentiality of information. This applies to customers, suppliers, contractors and other stakeholders. The notice also covers rights under UK law and who to contact. Internal policies ensure our employees deal with customer and colleague information with appropriate regard for confidentiality.

Anti-bribery and Corruption

Our Anti-bribery and Corruption Policy covers conflicts of interest, antitrust/anti-competitive practices and money laundering and/or insider trading/dealing.

Our Bid Assessment Framework sets out details as to how a competitive tendering process will work and the principles, stages and requirements which both United Utilities and third parties will be required to follow and comply with to allow us to trade together.

Whistleblowing Policy

Our Whistleblowing Policy and a confidential whistleblowing line are available internally and encourage our employees or contractors to raise concerns about any possible wrongdoing on an anonymous basis.
