Connections reporting cut off dates
As we approach the end of the 2025/26 charging year, we wanted to give you a clear and timely reminder of the reporting deadlines for any connections completed up to 31st March 2026.
Getting these dates right is very important. It helps ensure the correct year’s charges are applied and prevents any last minute confusion or unnecessary stress. We want to make sure everything is submitted smoothly and no one is left trying to resolve things under pressure.
Below is a summary of the key dates for both SLP and NAV connections:
SLP Connections
To make sure 2025/26 charges are applied:
- Non-Household connections made on or before 31st March 2026
must be reported within 1 calendar day of the connection being made.
Latest reporting date: Close of play 1st April 2026 - Household connections made on or before 31st March 2026 must be reported within 5 calendar days of the connection being made. Latest reporting date: 5th April 2026
Any SLP connections completed on or before 31st March 2026, but reported after these dates will be charged using 2026/2027 rates.
NAV Connections
For 2025/2026 charges to apply, any NAV connections made on or before 31st March 2026 must be reported by 14th April 2026.
Connections reported after this date will fall under the 2026/2027 charges, even if the work was completed before 31st March.
