£500 million term loan facility with the European Investment Bank

United Utilities Water PLC ("UUW") (A3 stable/BBB+ positive) signed a new £500m term loan facility with the European Investment Bank ("EIB"), the financing arm of the European Union, on 19 December 2013. The purpose of this facility is to support delivery of UUW's AMP5 capital investment programme.
