Why has the operability of your monitors dropped from 2022 to 2023?
Over the course of 2023 we installed 261 more monitors, meaning we are now operating and maintaining 2,264 EDMs - one of the largest fleets of monitors in the UK. The final EDMs to be installed were in some of the most challenging locations in terms of mobile phone connectivity so we are still working through improvements. We will be introducing additional resources over the course of this year, including AI technology, to allow us to spot and target any maintenance requirements as quickly as possible.
